A Timeless Thought to Treasure

When hardships surface in our world and the world at large, look to our Maker, the Father of Lights.

I Corinthians 2:9
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. (KingJamesVersion)
James 1:17
17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. (King James Version)

When Politics Greet You at the Lord’s House

When did our love for our Savior take a back seat to political tirades?

I want to go to the house of the Lord, set aside worldly interests, and commune with Him and His people.
Psalms 122:1
Could we on the verge of being rejected by Christ?
And our candlestick removed?
Revelation 2:1-7

Do you deny the gift God gave you?

Isaiah 50:4-5
King James Version (KJV)
4) The Lord God hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned.
5) The Lord God hath opened mine ear, and I was not rebellious, neither turned away back.

As writers we have an opportunity to speak to the world. Jesus did not come to save the righteous, but He came to save the lost.
How can we reach them if we don’t offer the message?

1 Peter 4:10-11
King James Version (KJV)
10) As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
11) If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

Does your novel offer a message to the lost?
